Professional and managed services to online video, cable and broadcast customers: modelling, bringing to market, customizing, brand design and maintenance and software solutions.
You will have a good commercial grounding in web development and have a thorough understanding of object-oriented design and coding practices along with knowledge of good coding practices such as Unit Testing and Automated Builds. This role will support the Technical Leads and Architects in the development of services, apis and user interfaces for our products. You will have the ability to work independently, but also as part of a team to ensure the end product meets high quality standards. You will be highly technical and hands-on with experience of the whole development life cycle and be committed to design, build and deployment excellence.
You will be a knowledgeable technical person, ideally with relevant certification who works with colleagues and customers to deliver high quality production systems in either managed service or professional service (project) capacities. You will have experience with enterprise level databases and infrastructure, competent in a scripting language/tool such as PowerShell, Puppet, Docker or equivalent. You will have a customer centric approach and will be focused on delivering the right outcome for each of our customers. You'll bring passion, positivity and enthusiasm to the role, and be committed to developing your career within Technology.
As well as being a naturally good communicator and learner, you will have experience with software development using Java 7 or 8, and exposure to Hibernate, SPring or Git, as well as a knowledge of TDD.
