Calbot is a universal tool and can take into account all your calendars, no matter which ones you use or how many of them you have.
We started off in Leeds, UK, and are proud to be a part of the Yorkshire Startups community. The idea of Calbot was born at the university where a group of students studying different courses, taking different modules, and doing different co-curricular activities was trying to find a time where all of them were available to meet up to do a group project. It was a pain.
After bouncing the idea of a universal meeting scheduler around, we learnt that university students were not the only ones struggling with finding the best time for a group meeting. We realised that businesses all across the world are struggling with this problem too. We learnt that 1 person can waste 15-17 minutes schedules just 1 meeting. Make that 5 meetings per week and 1 employee is wasting 85 minutes of time on scheduling.
And so, we decided to build a meeting scheduling tool that would solve that problem. After doing market research, building, testing and trialing prototypes the Calbot you see today was finally born.
