We're looking for the following: Experience of working as a key member of collaborative agile teams - Excellent communicator and experienced influencer who can drive the adoption of effective testing throughout the agile software delivery lifecycle - Proven ability to define and adapt a test approach appropriate to specific technologies and business domains - Hands on experience creating and maintaining automated checks at multiple layers of the stack - Proven experience introducing and implementing appropriate automated checking solutions Broad knowledge of available test tools, techniques and approaches and where to use them -Proven history of using appropriate testing techniques at each level from code to full system - Well rounded understanding of how software systems are built and operated, and how to test components appropriately.
Requirements for this post: Experienced engineer with 3+ years in a primarily .NET background. You have the foundation of a full-stack engineer and an eagerness to learn new technologies outside .NET. You have an appreciation of Agile and DevOps ways of working. You appreciate the bigger picture, you are confident to contribute your ideas to the team on new technologies, solutions and delivery approaches. Skills, knowledge and experience will include: – Experience of managing a team, resource planning, vendor relationships, licencing and infrastructure lifecycles. – A strong VMware ESXi and vCenter experience as well as demonstrable evidence of participation in virtualisation deployment, delivery & troubleshooting. – Experience of VSAN, VROPS, Log Insight – Knowledge of PowerCLI scripting & automation – Knowledge of NSX-T, virtual & physical core networking. – An understanding of a broad range of technologies such as Security, Windows Server, Linux, Databases, Kubernetes, DevOps etc
You have: – In depth knowledge of Linux operating systems primarily RedHat – In-depth experience of Networking principals – Significant skills in a scripting language such as bash. – Experience of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Heroku etc.) – Experience of common infrastructure and application monitoring platforms (e.g. Nagios, Opsview, Grafana, Observium)

A good understanding of IT/Data Security policies and procedures and reporting/escalating any non-adherence. Good knowledge of Office 365 is essential
