The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering software projects and be comfortable participating in all stages of product development, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment. We’re seeking a candidate with fantastic communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to stakeholders of all seniority levels. You’ll have opinions on good engineering practices and help to shape our processes as the team grows. We’re committed to developing junior and apprentice engineers, so you’ll have opportunities for mentoring and coaching early-career developers.
Key competencies and experience: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organisational skills including time management. Willingness, ability to self-learn and quickly adapt to new technologies, tools and working practices. Minimum 4 years commercial development.

You must - be 18+ years of age, be available to work up to 40hrs per week, have your own equipment and software, have a good grasp of the English language, have the ability and facilities to work remotely and demonstrate original high quality scripting work on the Roblox platform.
Required - Experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque : Understanding of concepts such as MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful : Understanding of fundamental design principles and best practices used to create scalable applications : Experience in database technologies (SQL, MongoDB etc) : Experience using source control (GIT, SVN etc) : Proven track record of building fully functional web applications : Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
