Arbor’s Management Information System (MIS) is currently used by over 1,000 schools, helping staff save time whilst improving student outcomes. The company, whose Customer and Sales Office made its home in Leeds 4 years ago, recently decided to establish a new development and engineering function in the City, a decision which was an easy one considering the City's strategic location, its fast-paced environment and the large body of potential employees.
What we're looking for: A thorough understanding of Cloud architecture and technology, preferably evidenced by a certification; Experience in delivering cloud-native applications e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP. Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g. Kong, MuleSoft, APIgee) and their deployment and hands-on experience in designing and delivering services using modern architecture patterns e.g. microservices, RESTful APIs, event-based architecture. A tool chest full of consulting methods and approaches which allow you to work with a lose brief, create consensus and help stakeholders reach decisions, structure work and communicate complex data in a clear way. Understanding of DevOps processes facilitating Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines using latest technologies (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes). Experience in managing a team and developing talent with a focus on continuous improvement. Ability to identify and build a capability and go-to-market offering for the firm. An interest in contributing to developing sales proposals and future opportunities for the firm.
