We are a growing sixty-plus team based in Leeds who build and deliver large scale app and game projects for international clients such as Lego, Mattel, PBS and DreamWorks. We have a huge variety of projects and technologies, so there’s always something new and interesting to work on.
We are looking for a Unity Technical Artist with creative and technical expertise. You will be responsible for working with Unity and other graphics tools to create market leading kids games and apps.
Collaborate with development and creative teams to help build features and solve creative problems
Push the technology to create/implement high quality visuals that meet the capabilities of the available platforms
Prototype and iterate to find creative solutions
Facilitate communication and asset pipeline between development and creative teams
Desirable Skills & Experience
Expert-level experience with Unity Game Engine
Expert level shader creation and manipulation
Expert in scripting with C# within the Unity environment
Experience creating real-time visual effects sequences, particle and lighting effects
Knowledge of optimizing real-time 3D-graphics pipeline for mobile platforms
Solid artistic skills (drawing or digital painting) a plus
Experience collaborating within a multi-person game studio
BS or MS degree in Design, games-related or technical field is a plus
Experience working with Agile methodologies a plus

Requirements - Minimum of four years of experience as a product owner or similar. : Proven results influencing stakeholders and displaying improvements. : Ability to translate complex problems and ideas into easily understood descriptions. : Comfortable presenting to clients and other stakeholders via teleconference and meetings independently. : Strong understanding of Agile Scum principles.
You must - be 18+ years of age, be available to work up to 40hrs per week, have your own equipment and software, have a good grasp of the English language, have the ability and facilities to work remotely and demonstrate original high quality scripting work on the Roblox platform.
Required - Experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque : Understanding of concepts such as MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful : Understanding of fundamental design principles and best practices used to create scalable applications : Experience in database technologies (SQL, MongoDB etc) : Experience using source control (GIT, SVN etc) : Proven track record of building fully functional web applications : Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
