The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems Analyst to join the Business
Change team based in Horsforth, Leeds (with hybrid working). The company is going
through a period of significant change and the Business Change team are responsible for
delivering a multi-year transformation programme. Legacy, in-house systems are gradually
being replaced with a cloud-based platform alongside improvements to operating models
and business processes.
We use the Agile Scrum framework to deliver incremental change through regular releases.
The team is cross-functional and everyone works together to deliver new applications and
features. You will be involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle but will specialise in
technical delivery and software development.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys Change and IT; likes to work collaboratively and can
use their own initiative; is positive and has plenty of energy; and wants to learn. The work

every time you help deliver a new release.

 Competitive salary of £28,000 to £40,000 DOE

 35 hours working week

What you’ll be getting up to
You will be involved in all of the following activities but will mostly focus on software
 Help define the scope of work for new projects or major enhancements
 Work with business colleagues to gather high level requirements (and model
business processes where applicable)
 Contribute to enterprise level application designs and data models
 Work with the scrum team to build and maintain a backlog of requirements and plan
sprints (two week period) and releases (longer term planning)
 Produce solution designs or move straight to application prototyping to rapidly deliver
new functionality
 Set up, configure and test new and existing off the shelf cloud applications
 Use a Low Code Application Platform to develop new software solutions for more
complex business requirements (involves coding)
 Deliver releases through the deployment of technical changes and the completion of
business readiness activities
 Promote Agile Scrum and encourage innovation across the company to continually
deliver improvements

Essential skills
 At least 2 years’ experience working in a project or software development
environment as a systems analyst, technical business analyst or equivalent role
 Experience of the software development lifecycle or a project management
methodology (preferably Agile Scrum but not essential)

 Programming skills (either self-taught or acquired through a software
development role)
 Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex problems and help
people understand how they can be solved

Extra credit
 Skilled in systems design, data modelling, systems configuration and systems
 Experience of Zoho Creator and Deluge, Zoho’s proprietary scripting language, to
develop custom applications
 Experience of developing and implementing Zoho One applications
 Experience of Agile Scrum and related project management software
 Experience of the Financial Services industry, particularly the area of wealth
