We are looking for Project Managers within the Business Support Group of Yorkshire Water. One of our significant transformational changes is within our internal IT function which provides leading edge technology services to a wide range of internal and external customers and partner organisations.

Competitive salary, Permanent contracts available together with pension, quarterly performance related bonus, 25 days annual leave. 

What the role involves:

Yorkshire Water is a regulated utility that provides water and waste water services to 5 million customers in the Yorkshire region.  
We have a number of great opportunities to join the Programme Delivery department, leading the way in delivering large scale projects during an exciting time of business and technological change. 
Our £50m pa investment programme delivers a range of different projects that you can get involved in. This includes our internal IT function which provides leading edge technology services to a wide range of internal and external customers and partner organisations. We also manage the fleet programme, land and property projects and many innovation projects.

We are also embarking on a significant technological business change which includes a major SAP implementation, renewing our customer solutions and the creation of a digital business.

In the future we want to control and optimise our assets in real time and interact with our customers through their preferred channel. Using resources to prevent asset failure and managing operational risk will all become core capabilities. These business capabilities will require leading edge infrastructure, sensors, analytics platforms and applications which are easy to use and support effective and efficient decisions at all levels in the organisation. 

The specific project management skills we are looking for include: 
· Planning and priority management
· Resource management and resource conflict resolution 
· Excellent stakeholder engagement and management 
· Influencing, leadership and motivational skills 
· Experience of working with both internal and external teams 
· Financial budget control and forecasting 
· Issue and risk management 
· Communication skills
· Health and safety awareness

Desirable Skills:

Experience and qualification in a project methodology such as Prince2 or APM along with Microsoft Project 2010 experience would be an advantage.
