You will spend up to 12 months (dependent on your course) working alongside our senior developers on a day to day basis, working on multiple projects, gaining skills in: C#, .Net, PHP, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MVC, Entity Framework and Bootstrap. This is a fantastic opportunity for a college, university or post-graduate student to get some valuable experience and build on fundamental skills relevant to the industry.
Required: Excellent verbal and written customer communication skills A fast learner with a natural passion for IT and technology Minimum of 3 years’ work experience within a helpdesk/support role Ability to troubleshoot bugs/issues and know when to escalate them to the development team Able to put the customer at ease and deal sensitively and diplomatically with issues or complaints Experience using issue tracking software Experience providing Technical Support using operating systems such as Windows 8 & Windows 10 Ability to provide a high level of customer service and satisfaction to the agreed business levels at all times A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office An understanding of basic networking concepts Ability to prioritise support issues and work in a high-pressure environment
