Experience .NET Developer

Dataphiles are a well-established and fast growing Yorkshire based company specialising in custom software development together with a portfolio of market-leading SaaS products. We have an amazing client list across all sectors including healthcare, charities, public sector and business. Our recent work includes projects for Jaguar Landrover, Toyota, Manchester City FC, MyDentist and Ericsson.

We are looking to expand our team by recruiting a talented, ambitious and experienced .NET developer with demonstrable recent commercial experience. You will work alongside team members in the development of new and existing applications. Liaising closely with customers and internal stakeholders you’ll collaborate on a wide variety of interesting projects using Visual Studio and build on well-established data platforms.

> Can build new web applications and support existing clients, including content management and e-commerce and marketing systems.

> Is bright, enthusiastic, highly motivated and enjoys working as part of a lively team.

> Able to use their own initiative to problem-solve and learn new technologies.

> Has excellent communication and organisation skills and great attention to detail.

> Commercially aware

Essential Skills :

> Visual Studio
> Microsoft SQL (including stored procedures, TSQL, Indexing and SSMS)
> ASP.NET MVC
> C#
> Web API (restful and 3rd party)
> JavaScript/jQuery (and associated skills such as Typescript, JSON)
> HTML
> CSS/LESS/SASS and UI frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, Foundation)
> ORMs, such as Entity Framework, Hibernate
> Dependency injection (e.g. Ninject, Unity, Windsor)
> Software architecture patterns, such as MVC, MVVM, SOLID, IOC etc.
> Experience of testing and mocking frameworks (e.g. N & X Unit, MS Test)
> Source control (e.g. GIT, SVN)

Nice to haves………..

> Cloud services (AWS, Azure etc.)
> Web front-end frameworks e.g. Angular, React and Vue
> Other skills but not essential VB, MySQL

The role is based at our head office in Otley, just north of Leeds so would particularly suit candidates living north of the city who no longer want the long daily commute into the city centre.
