Purpose of Job
Our busy Communications team works across both Leeds Grand Theatre and City Varieties Music Hall and provides support to the Hyde Park Picture House team as required.
As Digital Coordinator you will be responsible for managing the Leeds Heritage Theatres website and social media channels, ensuring that the whole Company is represented, and that the customer journey is comprehensive and engaging. You will support all areas of the business in curating and creating content that enhances Leeds Heritage Theatres brand, supports income generation, and raises awareness of our work.
About You
You will be a self motivated team player, happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in, and an expert at multi-tasking and prioritising. An eye for detail, a love of good design and the ability to work methodically would be hugely useful.
You’ll love to keep up with the latest trends in digital development but be able to understand what is relevant for Leeds Heritage Theatres right now and how we can best harness new ideas and tech to our advantage; recognising our customer base and its needs.
You’ll understand social media and be confident in creating content and posts as well as responding to customers when required.
You’ll enjoy learning new things, be excited by challenge and be able to adapt to new situations. You’ll enjoy reading data and analytics, and being able to respond to enhance the customer experience whilst achieving our goals.
Whilst this role will primarily be based in the office or at home, working with our internal team and colleagues, there will be occasions when you will attend events and press nights, so being confident in speaking to new people is a must.
You don’t need to come from an arts background but an interest or enjoyment of live performance will be a benefit.
