Content Writer

Audacia is a Leeds and London based software development company. We specialise in building complex and integral bespoke software solutions for clients including global mechanical seals manufacturer AESSEAL; one of the world’s largest agricultural companies ADM; and award-winning offshore solutions provider, Specialist Marine Consultants (SMC).

 

We’re looking for a Content Writer to join our team to create engaging, clear and concise copy on a range of topics and services.

 

As our Content Writer, you’ll work alongside our Marketing, SEO and PR teams, being responsible for developing and maintaining a library of content including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, web pages and research reports, among others.

 

You’ll be writing content that communicates to our defined audience, following a brief and conveying our key messages, continuing to establish our position as a thought leader in our industry. Covering topics from how businesses can successfully invest in artificial intelligence (AI), to the impact that no-code tools are having on innovation within enterprise.

 

You’ll be experienced in conducting research, with the ability to speak to software developers and project managers, conveying their thoughts in an accurate and comprehensible way.

 

You’ll immerse yourself in industry news, keeping up to date with the latest developments, thoughts, trends and opinions on key topics within the technology industry, with your thoughts contributing to our overall content strategy.

 

You’ll be part of a community here, with people who like to engage inside and outside of work. You’ll normally find us in evenings at the pub, playing in a pool league, board games or D&D, at yoga sessions or the cinema, or simply building AR prototypes over some pizza and beer.

 

Skills and experience:

  • Strong, demonstrable written communication skills
  • An understanding of, or enthusiasm to learn about, the technology industry
  • Ability to translate complex subjects into simple and understandable copy
  • Ability to turn around copy quickly and accurately, meeting deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to take into account tone of voice and brand guidelines
  • Knowledge of SEO for optimisation
  • Previous experience in content writing
