Client Partner

Customers work with Parallax to solve challenges and drive business performance. As a digital transformation agency these tend to be challenges that can be addressed using technology.

We don’t expect you to be an expert at everything in the following areas but we do expect you to know and understand them to the point that you can speak meaningfully about them, formulate a strategy for a customer incorporating them, brief the rest of the team on the desired outcome and to take responsibility for a successful execution.

Key skills

As a Client Partner at Parallax your role is to get under the skin of how our customers’ organisations work, identify pain points and problems and figure out how to solve and improve them.

You’ll use your thorough understanding of the fundamentals of business, UX and technology to formulate strategies to improve profitability through sales, people, technology and process.

You’ll have a proven track record which lends credibility to your work.

  • Carrying out qualitative and quantitative research such as customer interviews and user interviews
  • Identifying opportunities and creating proposals and pitch decks to answer them
  • Running design projects including wireframing key areas and functionality and briefing the design team
  • Solving business problems using tech with the help of the engineering team
  • Financial analysis of strategy choices – return on investment, value fit and margin
  • Planning and writing user stories and carrying out feature prioritisation and roadmap planning
  • Presenting recommendations to C-level clients in an effective and persuasive manner
  • Working with the delivery team to effectively plan resource whilst exceeding client expectations
  • Performing market assessments including reviewing competing products and services
  • Learning about clients businesses and translating business-to-technical requirements, and vice versa
  • Accurate estimation and providing quotations for additional pieces of work.
  • Defining and tracking project success metrics.

Interviews are followed by a trial day at the office (during the COVID-19 pandemic alternative arrangements will be made), where you will be required to showcase your technical capability, demonstrable experience and ability to integrate into our team.
