PwC’s Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) practice is the market leading AWM audit business. Our business is a national practice comprising over 600 staff with a presence in 12 offices across the UK, and comprises both financial audit and non-audit assurance businesses.

As a Senior Associate in the Asset Wealth Management Cass team, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
The role involves working directly with clients to deliver high quality CASS audits, other assurance and advisory services, helping to drive our ambitious technology agenda and supporting the build out of our national CASS team across the UK.

Some of the essentials: 4 months’ experience developing data pipelines on a spark based platform such as Databricks with languages such as Python/PySpark (preferred), R or Scala and libraries such Pandas (or Koalas). 18 months’ commercial experience working with the Microsoft Azure data engineering platform...Azure Data Factory (v1-v2), Azure Data Lake (Gen1 & Gen2), Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL Server, ADF Integration Runtime and SSIS IR. : 5 years’ commercial experience developing developing SQL server database solutions using declarative development in Visual Studio and skills in T-SQL, SSIS, JSON, Powershell and C# : 3 years’ experience of acting as a lead/senior data developer across at least 3 distinct projects with responsibility for overseeing/mentoring junior developers. : 3 years’ commercial experience on logical and physical data modelling and strong knowledge of techniques such as dimensional modelling.
Required - Be CA / ACA / ACCA / ICAS qualified (or international equivalent) : Or have equivalent work experience in Audit (you’re an international candidate who technically qualifies in your home country by experience) : Have experience of management of the audit from planning to supervision and review of the process : Have flexibility in your approach to meeting goals as part of the team : Have the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels : Have a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships : Take a proactive approach to problem solving and delivering client solutions : You will have experience of interacting with senior level clients and management to develop and maintain business relationships : Experience of IFRS, UK GAAP (including FRS 101/102) and international standards on auditing would be required.
Required - Experience of leading operational improvement /turnaround or operational restructuring programmes : Accounting, Engineer or relevant professional qualification (e.g. MBA, APICS, CPIM) : Advisory experience from a management consultancy, corporate finance advisory firm or as an 'internal consultant' in a corporate : Operations experience, across one or more sectors engineering, financial services, retail, industrial, consumer, high tech, utilities, logistics, telecoms and energy : Proven P&L analysis, cash flow and balance sheet work : Competent with spreadsheets, financial and operational KPIs. Comfortable with financial analysis Track record in business development.
CA / ACA / ACCA/ICAS qualified (or international equivalent) or Part Qualified and working towards your full CA/ACA/ACCA/ICAS (or equivalent) qualification Or equivalent work experience in Audit (international candidates who technically qualify in their home country by experience)
Demonstrable experience as a technology Business Change Manager on large scale transformation programmes, underpinned by technology, in one or more industries for Tier 1 clients Experience of delivering Change within a large-scale SAP ECC or SAP S/4 Hana implementation is desirable Experienced of delivering change in programmes that are multi-site / regional / global A proven track record in helping global brands transform their organisations. Previous experience from a top consulting firm is a must! Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
Requirements for this post include: Performed a Workstream Lead role, Cutover Manager or Test Manager role across multiple S/4 Hana engagements. Have strong knowledge of SAP Activate/ASAP Methodology & SAP Solution Manager Experienced in ‘Agile’ Delivery methods Led teams of between 2-5 people Previous experience from a top consulting firm Strong stakeholder management and relationship building
