Job Description – Business Development Manager – Consumer (1800003Y)
Responsible for identifying opportunities for new products and services with existing and prospective clients to deliver against personal revenue objectives.
Key tasks:
• To identify, approach and on-board new clients in line with overall business objectives
• Manage relationships with existing partners, identifying new opportunities and developing relationships with key stakeholders
• To negotiate and manage the contracting process, including agreed legislative and regulatory requirements between data partners and internal stakeholders, including the Legal department
• Negotiates and manages the contracting process between Callcredit & client organisations.
• Identifies, builds and develops relationships with key stakeholders to maximise revenue opportunities, understand client requirements, seek further revenue opportunities and operate strategically within their accounts.
• Manages and develops the business relationships for a number of allocated accounts and prospects to achieve revenue targets
• Ensures there is an effective and seamless hand-over to project management and delivery teams
• Manages and delivers a pipeline of revenue opportunities in the CRM, which will be used for prioritising sales activity and corporate forecasting
• Proactively explores innovative ideas and concepts to expand Callcredit products and services
• Owns the production of documented responses to invitations to tender in an effective and timely manner.
• Collaborates with other colleagues across all vertical sectors to maximise revenue
• Collaborates with Callcredit staff to achieve the highest levels of customer service
• Contributes to the implementation of marketing activities and business development initiatives
Qualifications
Essential:
• A Level or equivalent
• Valid UK driving licence
Desirable:
• Graduate calibre or above
Experience:
Essential:
• 3+ years’ experience in a BDM role or qualified by experience
• Relevant product experience (amend as required)
Desirable:
• 5+ years’ experience in a BDM role
• Experience within the Financial Services industry.
Experience working on Redhat Enterprise Linux v7 - Previous experience in Platform build and automation of Linux platforms - Able to use Ansible to automate apps and IT infrastructure - Bash or Perl Scripting experience We’d love experience with AWS or Azure however this is not essential – you will get the opportunity to work it though!
It is essential that you have been educated to GCSE level and have ITIL and/or relevant commercial experience. You should also have service desk experience and you will have used helpdesk logging tools, together with ITIL best practice.
It is essential that you hold a degree in Maths, Statistics or a related discipline. You should be proficient in the use of SAS/WPS and Excel and experienced in detailed analysis, ideally in credit risk. You will. have an understanding of credit bureaux data and a knowledge of financial services products.
CallCredit is looking for someone with at least GCSE grade C in Maths and English, together with experience of test automation techniques, commercial experience of software testing or database solutions with agile development lifecycle, and risk-based approaches.
