Data analysis and processing
Analytics support to project deliveries
The Analyst will be required to fit well within a lively and interactive team and quickly adapt to the analytical tools and development approaches used within Group Analytics.
KEY TASKS
Liaise with Business Consultant / Senior Consultant to ensure analytics tasks progress to plan
Conduct detailed analysis, including Scorecard development, portfolio review, monitoring and ad hoc data analysis
Submit and analyse retrospective bureau data
Present back results of analysis to internal/external clients
Produce deliverables/support documentation to required standards
Qualifications
SKILLS REQUIRED
Essential:
Good communication and team working skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to progress specified project tasks and work to deadlines with supervision from Business Consultant
Preferred, but not essential:
A number of roles are available within the Group Analytics function for Analysts with varying amounts of experience, the following should therefore be viewed as a guide to what is required / desirable.
Please note graduates with no post-graduate work experience will be considered.
Proficient in the use of SAS / WPS and Excel
Experience of conducting detailed analysis, ideally in a credit risk environment – Training & development will be given to recent graduates with no credit industry experience
Understanding of Credit Bureau data, products and services
Knowledge of Financial Services products
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related analytical/business discipline
Experience working on Redhat Enterprise Linux v7 - Previous experience in Platform build and automation of Linux platforms - Able to use Ansible to automate apps and IT infrastructure - Bash or Perl Scripting experience We’d love experience with AWS or Azure however this is not essential – you will get the opportunity to work it though!
It is essential that you have been educated to GCSE level and have ITIL and/or relevant commercial experience. You should also have service desk experience and you will have used helpdesk logging tools, together with ITIL best practice.
It is essential that you have at least 3 years' experience, including relevant products. You will have A level or equivalent qualifications and a full UK driving licence.
CallCredit is looking for someone with at least GCSE grade C in Maths and English, together with experience of test automation techniques, commercial experience of software testing or database solutions with agile development lifecycle, and risk-based approaches.
