Agile Business Analyst

Description

Burendo is a Leeds based, Agile consultancy specialising in supporting both large and SME organisations improve their Agile adoption and delivery processes. Our clients span both multiple industries and countries, and our consultants and coaches use a blend of tools and techniques obtained through their previous practical experience to help teams improve their client’s delivery capability.

As we grow we’re looking to hire a Business Analyst to work with us on a contract basis (inside IR35) for an period of three months initially. This role will involve working as part of a team for one of our public sector clients and although currently remote, their may be a need in the future to travel to and from Leeds for collaboration activities.

The successful candidate will be joining a burendo team on an existing project. The ideal candidate will be an energetic BA that is proactive, confident and a great communicator. From day to day you’ll be running daily stand-ups, running retro’s and facilitating the sprint planning so experience of working as a Scrum Master and managing release processes and release stakeholder management would also be preferred.

Requirements

    • Agile background and 3+ years experience in all aspects of the Product Development Lifecycle (from idea to live) A pragmatic approach to Agile methods and frameworks
    • Proficiency in both Jira and Confluence
    • A keen eye for detail whilst still maintaining the ability to view and prioritise the bigger picture
    • Natural facilitator brining people into conversations and workshops to ensure true collaboration
    • Ability to align business priorities to true value, Supporting Product Owners in ensuring that delivery is building products that add value to the organisation
    • Keeps up to date with both Agile and BA developments and practices
    • Evidence of establishing policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Experience of working with AWS would also be beneficial
    • Ability to work in a team, with minimal supervision
    • Eligible to work in UK

While it is not a essential requirement, a background in Healthcare services would be beneficial.
