Lead Interaction Designer – Gaming Tribe

We are looking for a Lead Interaction Designer to lead a team of designers across multiple products in our Gaming Tribe. You will need a strong and varied design background and stakeholder management, working closely with your team to grow modern design skills and deliver new and exciting projects.

What you’ll do:

You’ll work with internal and external clients, pitching designs, and understanding stakeholder needs. You’ll need to be able to develop visual designs, be responsible for recruiting, managing third-party suppliers as well as an internal design team.

It will involve using your tried and tested design toolkit to implement new best practices that will improve efficiency of the design and creative departments.

Lead a team of designers across multiple products in design-led thinking
Champion ground-breaking interactive experiences
Work closely with your team to grow modern design skills
Facilitate design for the big picture down to the smallest detail.
This isn’t a case of working on a production line. Here, design is an integral part of what we do. You can expect to be involved in small to large-scale projects from the earliest inception stages through design to development, release and measurement – allowing you to help shape the work ahead.

How you’ll do it:

With the vision and drive necessary to develop and lead our designers, both creatively and commercially. You’ll have a great eye for modern, beautiful design and understand how this interacts with, and supports, successful campaign and brand messaging. With experience in managing people, you will enjoy being involved in the day to day whilst maintaining the ability to consider the bigger picture.

You are a self-motivated, disruptive design leader with a desire to improve both the product and your team.
Managing the design team and freelancers as required, developing and growing your designers while providing quality control over design output.
You’ll drive development in relation to design and creative outputs by establishing and developing best practice with the design and creative teams.
With a strong attention to detail, you’ll communicate effectively design best practices to both designers and stakeholders across the business.
Applying an iterative approach to the design process, you can help inform stakeholders how a product or feature looks, works and feels. It can be fast paced, it can be challenging, but it can also be very rewarding.
