For this Leeds Digital Festival event, Netpremacy is teaming up with some innovative speakers from around the country to celebrate women in technology. This includes speakers from Google Cloud, Netpremacy WILD, and more.
It is well known that there traditionally has been a lack of female presence in the technology sector, but as technology advances, we are seeing a shift in the number of women in the field.
We are hosting a virtual discussion with trusted partners and valued team members to celebrate women in technology, how far we have come in this sector, and to discuss different experiences and influential journeys different women have been through.
We will be celebrating Netpremacy’s ladies in the cloud, hearing from Fraja Hodges on becoming the first female in Netpremacy to become Google Cloud certified in the “professional collaboration engineer” qualification. As well as our Support Engineer, Dasie, on being the only woman in a technical role in Netpremacy.
Hear from local Leeds influencer Sarah Tulip on her journey through technology in Leeds and setting up WILD (Women in Leeds Digital).
And last but certainly not least, we hear from Google Cloud representative Jordan on working in Google Cloud as a woman and her journey to success.
Join us to celebrate and discuss the challenges women in technology has faced, and how we are overcoming the stigma by moving to a more inclusive industry.
