Digital marketing analytics platform to host free educational webinar on calculating real Return on Investment

Digital marketing analytics platform Beacon is preparing to host a live webinar next month that will educate e-commerce marketers on how to calculate the true Return on Investment [ROI] from their Facebook and Instagram campaigns.

The free session will be led by Beacon’s founding CTO and data lead, Stewart Boutcher, in partnership with Edward Upton and Ari Messer, CEO and CMO respectively of Littledata.

Key topics discussed in the webinar will include:

  • The common issues associated with marketing attribution
  • How to track post-click shopping behaviour
  • The importance of using external platforms for an unbiased view of marketing channels
  • How to calculate ROI from your Facebook and Instragram ad spend
  • How benchmarking your site against similar brands can help make sense of data.

Co-founded by entrepreneurs Nigel Bridges, Mike Townend and Stewart Boutcher in 2016, Beacon is a marketing analytics platform that helps users manage and improve their campaigns. Beacon monitors campaign traffic across all channels in one dashboard, with click fraud detection enabling users to understand exactly how much of their digital advertising budget is wasted by bot clicks and ultimately distorting results.

Speaking ahead of the webinar, Stewart Boutcher said: “The vast majority of e-commerce brands today are using Facebook and Instragram ads as part of their digital marketing mix, and when it comes to Facebook ads, marketers are drawn to messaging about a strong ROI.

“However, without measuring results, it is incredibly difficult to know how well your ad campaigns are performing.

“This webinar will aim to teach participants why campaign measurement is so important and what they can do to ensure that ROI is calculated accurately.”

Littledata is an e-commerce analytics connector that fixes tracking for Shopify stores, offering complete marketing attribution, accurate sales data, and custom dimensions for lifetime value reporting [LTV].
