We’re working across some fabulous brands at Elmwood Leeds and we’re looking for a new Associate Creative Director with big ideas to join the team.

We’re always looking for new ways to help clients activate and amplify their brand’s iconicity across new canvases to drive brand cut through and value. Our recent acquisition of Framework Creative means we have enriched our service offering to include the application of immersive simulation technologies to enhance brand experience and product value. This is part of a bigger plan to enhance Elmwood’s offering and to this end the Leeds Studio are looking for a new Creative Director with big ideas to join the team.

As Creative Director you will drive and challenge the Leeds studio creative output and identity. Leading a team of 11 you’ll oversee the strategic direction of creative projects including challenger brands and global household names, knowing how big ideas relate to brand experience. You’ll work across a range of design disciplines including FMCG, packaging, and branding where you’ll drive big ideas and points of view that build great brands.

You will be great in front of clients and understand the value of fostering positive and profitable relationships, and will be able to access your wide network in order to introduce new opportunities.

And above all, you will be a discerning judge of our creative output, have amazing craft skllls and providing plenty of opportunity for junior members of the team to learn from you.

To be a really great Creative Director, you’ll need the following:

Previous experience of working as a Creative Director in a global Design Agency
Solid background of working with FMCG clients (global household brands)
Strategic thinking when it comes to brands, ensuring every piece of work is backed up with strategic rigour
An inspiring people person with the ability to inspire and motivate your team
Great with and in front of clients
Delivering a pipeline of creative award entries
Develop strong and beneficial relationships with stakeholders including clients, suppliers and within industry networks
Commercially astute ensuring projects are delivered to budget
